The city of Houston is one step closer to finalizing a vision proposed in 1997 to create a park dedicated to organizations devoted to victim’s rights. The approximately $300,000 project has funds allocated for the project to be located at Eleanor Tinsley Park on Allen Parkway. This choice location allows for an immaculate view of the downtown skyline. An original sculpture by local artist Tim Bayley captivates the uplifting spirit of those who work with crime victims and those who fight to better the criminal justice system for victims. Benches with paved engravers with organizational names will be placed. We will need your support when the issue comes to the front. Please write letters of support for this project so that we can announce it's dedication during National Crime Victim's Right's Week in April of 2002.
